Mandalas

I remember the times when I've been grinning quietly to myself about my mother's dress-habits. The more colorful, the better. Meanwhile I must admit , that I am pretty much the same. Love of colors would explain my recent fascination for mandalas which began several months ago when I set eyes on a beautiful book with mandala-styled drawings. In western culture mandalas are used as a tool for art therapy and a meditative exercise. Some people swear that coloring mandalas help them to unwind. Not in my case. Not at all. In fact colouring mandalas has no spiritual meaning for me, I simply use the patterns to express my creativity ( which is as diverse as the bright kaleidoscope of colours, smile) and to create/ decorate further objects with lovely designs. In fact the range of application for these colourful and unique arts is huge. In the second part of my post I am going to introduce you a few of my ideas.I am pretty sure I have not yet reached the end of my inspiration.
