After two holiday stories from splendid faraway destinations, I thought it was time to show you some views of the area I live in. The landscape is surely less “exotic” but certainly not less amazing. To my big regret I often overlook the beauty of the nature “next door”. The last couple of years from early spring till late autumn we try to spend our spare time as often as possible outdoors. The weekend excursions open my spirit to all these splendors which surround us. Let us start this mini photo series "Saarland and its Neighborhood”.
