You're only here for a short visit. Don't hurry, don't worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way. Walter Hagen

Flower Kaleidoscope

I suppose that only true organisation genies do not have the problem: photos stored once in computer never see the daylight again. Since the invention of digital photography I am living in a permanent conflict with myself. So many photos are taken everyday and everywhere, so many hours have to be spent in front of the computer screen on selecting them, so many decisions have to be made which ones of the snapshots should be kept/ deleted...A permanent frustration. And the whole time I am confronted with the essential question: why do I waste so much of my time and energy on taking photos which disappear forever in the “catacomb” of my computer?! Each winter again I have the firm intention of accomplishing this "mission impossible": bring some order into my photo files. Mostly this ambitious project ends in complete failure but occasionally my effort is rewarded with one or other lovely photo totally forgotten until then. Today I would like to share with you some macro-flower images taken during the last couple of years either by myself or by my friends Irmi and Christine. Enjoy!
