To a philosopher all news, as it is called, is gossip, and they who edit and read it are old women over their tea.

Teapots
07.10.2016/ by Renata
Summer comes to an end, fruits are harvested, jams made, apple-pies stored in the freezer... It's teatime. My latest pottery project, teapots, was started with the intention of creating several pieces dedicated to tea drinking, but as so often, the final destination of my experiments turned out to be less functional. Theoretically my tea pots are able to serve hot liquid, as they are suppose to do, but one technical detail I didn't think of during the designing process may cause a little problem: the spouts are set too low, or rather at an insufficiently acute angle. It's impossible to fill the pots completely with liquid! The tea will run away until the level is down to half full. A beginner's mistake. Unfortunate but not tragic. I am quite experienced in misjudging things and so a new use for the charming pieces was quickly found: nice flowers need nice surroundings to enhance their beauty, don't they?I am quite content with this solution and right now another tea pot is in “production” to give a home to my new succulent plant propagated from a leaf “found” recently in our local nursery. And the tea? Oh, I am going to continue with my old habit: a pinch of tea into the cup, hot water over, wait for a few minutes, stir, enjoy.
